WHOLE HOME RENOVATION + ADU IN MILL VALLEY
I’m Coming Home
Designed for a young family in Mill Valley, this project was centered around creating a warm, relaxed, and deeply inviting environment that balances beauty with everyday functionality. Inspired by the ease of Northern California living, the home features soft sage cabinetry, warm white oak, handcrafted tile, and aged brass details that bring together a palette rooted in natural materials and artisan craftsmanship. Earthy tones and layered textures create depth and character throughout the home while maintaining a calm and cohesive feel.
The open floor plan was thoughtfully designed to support connection, entertaining, and the rhythms of daily family life, while generous storage solutions throughout the home help keep spaces functional and organized for a growing family. From custom cabinetry to carefully considered material selections, every detail was designed to feel timeless, approachable, and comfortable for years to come.

Curated Materials for Warm California Living
This whole home renovation in Mill Valley blends organic textures, warm wood tones, and handcrafted details to create spaces that feel grounded, inviting, and deeply connected to everyday living. From the soft sage kitchen with integrated storage and an expansive island to the living room’s custom fireplace designed by Studio SQUIRE, the home balances thoughtful functionality with a warm and timeless Northern California aesthetic.
Small Footprint, Lasting Character
Designed as an extension of the main home, the ADU carries the same organic warmth and thoughtful material palette into a smaller footprint. Bold tile selections, warm wood tones, and layered textures give the space its own identity while maintaining a cohesive connection to the overall design.
